What is RenameClick?
RenameClick is a desktop AI workspace that renames files based on what's inside them, not their original filenames. Drop 500 photos named "IMG_4832.jpg" and get back "sunset-over-lake-como-italy.jpg" — all processed locally on your machine. What it does: Batch Rename — Drag files in, get AI-generated names based on content. Review before applying. Undo anytime. Auto-Organize — Sort files into category folders (Invoices, Screenshots, Receipts...) using AI categorization with custom or built-in presets. AI Search — Find files by describing what's in them. "red car on a highway" finds the right photo across thousands of files. Auto Flow — Set up folder watchers that automatically rename and organize incoming files. Perfect for Downloads, Scans, or Screenshot folders. Right-Click Integration — Right-click any file or folder in Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) and choose "Rename with RenameClick." Privacy-first: Runs a local vision-language model via llama.cpp. Your files stay on your machine by default.
