What is RenameClick?

RenameClick is a desktop AI file renamer and organizer for macOS and Windows. It reads what is inside supported images and documents, and can transcribe spoken audio locally, turning names like scan_001.pdf or recording_07.m4a into clear filenames based on their content. Work with a batch, review or edit every suggested name and destination folder, and apply only the changes you approve. Applied renames and moves support undo and redo. Organize files with AI Categories, build nested folders from dates and EXIF metadata, or use Match Folders to route new files into an existing client, project, or archive structure. AI Search finds supported local files by meaning rather than exact filename. Auto Flow watches folders such as Downloads, Scans, or Screenshots and can either wait for review or apply trusted rules automatically. With RenameClick Local AI selected, image and document analysis, audio transcription, naming, sorting, and search run on your computer after the required models are installed. Optional cloud providers and local integrations include OpenAI, Google Gemini, Alibaba Cloud, LM Studio, and Ollama. Audio transcription is Beta and supports MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, and AAC. RenameClick supports 40 file extensions across images, documents, structured text, subtitles, calendar/contact files, and audio. Import through drag and drop, browse, or the Finder/File Explorer right-click action. Custom instructions and filename patterns can combine AI names with counters, dates, EXIF fields, audio metadata, word selection, and text transformations. AI analysis and AI Search are free; the Free plan includes 30 successful apply operations per month, while Pro removes the apply limit.
