Real Startup Ideas
Startup ideas from real complaints, sources linked
What is Real Startup Ideas?
Real Startup Ideas is a searchable library of startup ideas taken from complaints people post in public. There are 381 ideas today across 21 categories, from cybersecurity and DevOps to caregiving, personal finance and teaching. Every idea links the thread it came from, so you can read the pain in the words of the people who feel it before you spend a weekend on it. Each idea page is free. It shows the problem, who has it, the source, and a Hotness score from 1 to 5 built from six signals: pain, willingness to pay, demand, competition gap, ease of build and recency. Recency is recomputed on every build, so ideas cool off unless new evidence turns up. When you find one worth building, one credit unlocks its agent starter prompt: a full product spec written for a coding agent, with the scope, the first version and what to leave out. You keep it, download it as a file, or send your agent a private link. If you'd rather not build it yourself, we build the first version in two weeks. New ideas are added several times a week, including ones riding new devices, platform changes and security incidents, and a free weekly letter sends the best of them.
