What is Premail?

Premail is a desktop companion app that helps keep your email inbox calm. It runs in the background beside your existing email client and watches Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud accounts. Instead of forcing you into a new inbox or browser plugin, it handles mail the way you would by hand. It can classify messages, apply rules, and take actions like archiving or trashing once you trust it. Each account starts in Learning Mode, so you can see what it would do before it actually changes anything. It also supports custom rules, rule packs, allowlisting and blocking, subscriptions control, inbox cleaning, activity tracking, analytics, backup and restore, and privacy-focused handling.
