What is Permisly?

Permisly is a visual RBAC design tool for planning access control before implementation. It helps teams model roles, resources, actions, and relationship-based scopes like own record, same group, and other group. You can add field-level exceptions, set inheritance with overrides, import CSV permission models, and get sign-off before engineering builds anything. It also has presenter mode, so you can walk people through permissions live in plain language during grooming calls. The product is aimed at product owners, security teams, engineering leads, and implementation partners who need to explain complex permissions clearly and keep the model aligned across the team.
