What is Opencals?

Opencals is the e-commerce platform for businesses that sell services. Booking is one module inside it—just like checkout is one module inside Shopify. That’s what most people miss at first glance. The hard part was never drawing a calendar. Every operator needs the same 90%. The last 10% is theirs. So the front end is open and the engine is not: templates and SDK are MIT; the engine and the infrastructure behind it are commercial. Dev stores are free forever—no card, no trial clock—so you can build against the real API for as long as you need. Switch to production when you’re ready: start pay‑as‑you‑go from $0, or move to a monthly plan once the volume justifies it.
