What is monthlet?

monthlet is a note-taking app where you just speak or dump your thoughts, and AI turns them into a clean, structured note. It can handle layout automatically, so you skip the usual copy-paste-format loop. You can ask it to create notes, spreadsheets, live charts, themes, calendars, note maps, tags, templates, and links. Notes are saved as plain HTML files on your own machine, so they stay readable and portable forever. The app is local-first and free, and works with your own API key for Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. It runs on macOS with Apple Silicon today, and Windows is on the way. monthlet AI — a subscription that runs the AI for you, with no key and no setup — is coming soon.
