What is Hejour?

Hejour is a calm macOS notebook where every day has its own page. You can write daily notes, link one day to another, and keep plans, todos, meetings, and photos organized exactly where they belong. Type @ to send a section to another day, or [] to turn text into a checklist item. Calendar events can appear at the top of the page, and clicking one can drop in a meeting heading ready to write under. Unfinished todos follow you forward, recurring routines repeat on schedule, and time-based reminders ping you at the right moment. It stores notes as plain files on your Mac, can sync through your own iCloud Drive, supports import from apps like Apple Notes, Obsidian, Bear, NotePlan, Logseq, and Day One, and lets you export everything back to Markdown anytime. There are no accounts, no servers, and no subscription.
