What is Glint?
Glint is a lightweight macOS menu-bar app that shows what Claude Code is doing in real time, right where you can glance at it. It reads your local session logs and surfaces live status, the current tool, token spend, plan progress, subagents, and context usage. You can place it as a notch island, a floating pill, or beside the Dock, and switch between views as needed. It stays local to your Mac, with no accounts or telemetry, and only uses the network to validate a license key. It also includes optional sounds, multi-session tracking, and a one-time lifetime license.
