StitchCraft pairs a genuinely free cross stitch pattern maker with a production-grade AI image pipeline. The free path converts any photo to a DMC-matched chart locally in your browser โ no upload, no account, unlimited exports with a commercial licence. When a photo is too busy to stitch, the AI path steps in: Nano Banana 2 or GPT Image 2 redraws it as flat color blocks, restyles it across 12 needlework presets, or generates original designs from a text prompt. Every render flows straight into the chart engine and comes out as a print-ready PDF with symbols, DMC codes and skein estimates.
