What is Clipy?

Clipy is a free screen recorder made for people and AI agents. You can record your screen, webcam, or voice, then share a link instantly. What makes it different is that every recording also turns into a markdown report with a summary, transcript, key moments, click targets, and frame images. That means teammates can watch the video, while Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other agents can read the same recording as structured context. It works in the browser, needs no install for basic use, and lets viewers open links without signing up. It also supports agent setup through a skill or MCP server, plus tools for moving Loom libraries over and converting video and audio files.
