What is Bunsho?
Bunsho is a story-aware writing app for novelists who want to keep their books consistent while they draft. It helps you track characters, timelines, world rules, scenes, and objects as you write, then flags contradictions when you ask for a check. The editor is free to download, works on macOS and Windows, and does not need an account. Bunsho also includes World and Planner views, plus Director Mode for outlining scenes with AI help before prose is written. It is built for writers who want to focus on the story without juggling spreadsheets, notes, and manual fact-checking.
