What is BatesKit?
BatesKit is a browser-based tool for batch Bates numbering, stamping confidentiality legends and exhibit labels, and running production checks on PDFs before they are sent. It works entirely on your own machine, so your files never leave the device. You can drop in files or folders, set numbering rules like prefix, digits, start number, and step, then write the output to a folder you choose. It supports continuous numbering across multiple files, mixed page sizes, rotated pages, and searchable text stamps. It also includes read-only checks for metadata leaks, redaction issues, and production QA like gaps, duplicates, and index mismatches. A manifest CSV and QC reports help you keep everything organized.
