What is Krova Cloud?
Krova Cloud is a self-service cloud platform that runs applications inside isolated Linux virtual machines called "Cubes," powered by AWS Firecracker microVMs—the same isolation technology behind AWS Lambda. Unlike traditional VPS providers or container platforms that share kernels, every Cube boots its own Linux kernel inside a secure, unprivileged per-cube sandbox. Cubes have no public IP of their own; instead, web traffic is routed through a managed-HTTPS ingress with automatic TLS, hidden origin IPs, and provider-grade DDoS mitigation. With full root SSH access, instant sleep/wake billing, and 1:1 resource reservation (zero overselling), Krova is purpose-built for AI agent sandboxes, untrusted code execution, ephemeral CI runners, and production web workloads—all billed by the minute at less than half the price of AWS Lightsail, DigitalOcean, Vultr, and Linode
Key features
- Firecracker MicroVM Isolation: True hardware-level security with an independent Linux kernel per Cube and zero kernel sharing.
- Per-Minute Billing & Auto-Sleep: Pay only for the minutes you run; sleep Cubes instantly to pause compute billing while preserving state.
- Managed HTTPS & Hidden Origins: Built-in ingress with automatic TLS and DDoS mitigation—no public IPs or exposed origin servers.
- Full Root SSH & Browser Terminal: Complete root control with baked-in SSH keys, custom port mappings, and a web-based terminal.
- 1:1 Resource Reservation: Dedicated RAM, vCPU, and NVMe storage with zero overselling or thin provisioning.
- Developer-First API & SDKs: Full REST API, TypeScript SDK, CLI, webhooks, and an MCP server for instant AI-editor integration.
