What is Interlaza?
Interlaza is a match-to-sample teaching app for children with autism between 18 and 36 months: the child sees a sample and picks, from several options, the one that matches it. That single procedure teaches concepts, vocabulary, and relations between stimuli. What separates it from an exercise app is what it does with the data. It keeps responses the child gave on their own apart from prompted ones, uses no-feedback probes to check whether what was taught transfers to material the child never practiced, computes agreement between two observers, and records whether the procedure ran as designed. Every session runs offline and the data lives on the device; cloud storage is something you switch on. For instructors, centers, and families. In Spanish and English.
