What is Carry.md?
Carry is a Chrome extension that saves your ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok conversations as plain Markdown in a folder you own. It can write straight into your Obsidian vault, so your chats become searchable notes instead of trapped inside a platform. Everything stays local on your computer, with no server and no account. It captures new conversations automatically, keeps one file per chat, and updates existing files without making duplicates. It also saves extras like Deep Research reports, Claude projects, and Grok search results when available.
