What is Bytesweep?
Bytesweep is a disk cleaner for macOS and Linux that shows you what is taking up space before you delete anything. It scans drives or folders on your device, then sorts items into safe to clear, worth a look, and do not delete. You get eight visual views like treemap, sunburst, flame, and bubbles, plus detailed file inspection, duplicates, similar photos, age maps, and app footprints. It also handles developer clutter like Xcode DerivedData, Docker junk, package caches, iPhone backups, and AI model folders. The app works offline, keeps your file names on your device, and puts every sweep into a restore point so you can undo it for up to 7 days. One license covers three computers.
